The animal agricultural industry is done differently all over the world, but the vast majority of animals are factory farmed. While some farms really do ensure that the animal's are taken care of, no animal deserves to be loaded onto a truck and driven off to be slaughtered. There are more cases of abuse, neglect and cruelty than not and no animal should be subjected to lives like these. These farms, whether factory farms or grassy fields, are in South Africa and across the world, don't forget that because the meat you eat is most likely imported from a different country. Those upsetting videos and articles from overseas slaughterhouses and farms; those animals can very easily end up on your plate too. Free range means nothing when the animals are slaughtered savagely!
